Who We Are
HopeWorks is a Christian nonprofit providing HOPE to Memphians through education, employment and empowerment for 35 years.
What We Do
We work with individuals who are struggling to enter or reenter the workforce. Our team helps remove obstacles to work and help our clients and students obtain sustainable employment. Our primary programs are:
- Workforce Development - teaching soft job skills to help people obtain employment
- Adult Basic Education - removing the education obstacle by helping adults earn a high school equivalency diploma
- Adult English as a Second Language - removing the language barrier by teaching English to immigrants
- Holistic Reentry - We work inside the Shelby County Division of Corrections and in the community with returning citizens to help with reentry and build a better life.
